Food Allergy

If you note any food allergy reaction whenever you or your love ones ate certain food ... from rashes, cough to asthma and anaphylactic reaction ... confirm it with an allergy test ... besides taking food allergen off the recipe and menu ... you need to ensure that there are no cross contamination from the worktop to equipments used ... read labels of packaged products ... unsured don't use ... it can be life threatening for someone with severe allergy and anaphylactic reaction.

Meat Sauce

Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil 
  • 3 onions, cut into large chunks 
  • 2 carrots, cut into large 
  • 3 cloves garlic 
  • 2 cups button mushrooms 
  • 3 stalks celery, cut into large chunks 
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil 
  • 6 ounces bacon, thinly sliced 
  • 8 oz ground beef 
  • 8 oz ground pork 
  • 8 oz ground veal 
  • 1 can tomato paste 
  • 2 cups red wine 
  • 2 bay leaves 
  • 1 large can stewed tomatoes 
  • Salt and Pepper 

Instructions:
  1. finely chopped in a food processor ... onions, carrots, garlic cloves, mushrooms, celery and olive oil ...
  2. sauté bacon with olive oil ... until golden ...
  3. add vegetable mixture ... sauté till caramelize...
  4. add ground meats ... stir to break apart...
  5. add tomato paste, red wine, bay leaf and stewed tomatoes ... continue to stir break up chunks of meat...
  6. simmer for about 30 minutes, ... until sauce has thickened ...
  7. season with salt and peppe to taste ...
